SHIPPING

Orders are shipped to the US and to most other countries.   Most orders are shipped by mail and some heavier orders are shipped by truck (UPS, FedEx, etc.).    

Shipping Rates for the 48 States:*  The total shipping for an entire order is the highest shipping rate for all the ordered parts, where A=$3, B=$5, and C=$7.   For example, if you order 6 different parts and the highest "Shipping Rate" for these parts is B, the total shipping charge for all 6 parts is $5.00.  There is an additional $2.00 handling fee on all orders.  If the highest shipping rate is an (H), the item is heavy and/or bulky and the shipping total for your order will be quoted in our response.  Please include your zip code in the order information if an (H) item is ordered.  All items are shipped FOB our location.  If you want us to buy optional insurance for you, the cost is $2.00 extra.

* Due to recent increases in postal and truck shipping charges, the above "B" and "C" rates are approximate and will usually still be accurate.  However, order shipping charges might be a little higher than that calculated above, especially when the total order is over 13 ounces and going to some of the western states.  The reply email to your order will specify the exact shipping amount. 

Shipments to AK, HI, and US Possessions may be a little more in certain circumstances.  Shipments to Canada and Mexico will be a little more for small parts orders.  Shipments to other countries may be considerably more, depending on weight and method of shipment.  The S&H charge for such orders will be stated in the email reply to your parts order.  Be sure to indicate what country the parts will be shipped to.  It must be legal to ship these parts to your country, and the package may have a customs from attached to it.  Usually, such shipments cannot be insured, so loss in shipping is your responsibility.*  

* Nothing has got lost yet.  I have successfully shipped recently to Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and several other countries. 

PAYMENTS

Payment for domestic orders can be by cash, check, MO, or PayPal (confirmed address).  Checks and some MO's may require clearance time before shipment, depending on the amount.  Cash, a USPS MO, and PayPal always ship right away.

Payment for international orders must be in US dollars.  I prefer a Western Union payment by mailing a WU Money Order or emailing a WU Money Transfer (check your local Western Union office for details).  MoneyGram is another option.  Some countries have agreements with the US Post Office that allows me to accept postal money orders from those countries.  See International Postal MO for details.  In some cases I might accept PayPal (confirmed address) for a small order only, since PayPal rules do not protect me completely for international payments through PayPal (their rules, not mine).  First, submit your order and then my reply will indicate whether I can accept PayPal.  US Currency (cash) also accepted and may be the easiest way for small orders.
